Eric Faulkner, Senior Director of US Pricing and Reimbursement in the Market Access group of RTI Health Solutions will deliver two webinars entitled the
Evolution of Personalized Medicine: The Role of Pharmacogenomics in Managed Care for the Genomics Biotech Institute of the National Association of Managed Care Physicians (NAMCP). This webinar will explore the anticipated impact of personalized medicine on diagnostic and drug development, treatment targeting, and implications for managed care medicine and patient outcomes.
The first webinar will be held on September 15, 2009 and the second one on October 20, 2009, both from 12-1pm EST.

Mr. Faulkner is a recognized expert in diagnostics and personalized medicine and has recently served as an expert advisor to the Personalized Medicine Subcommittee of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology and the Personalized Healthcare Initiative of the US Department of Health and Human Services. He is currently serving as the Chair of the Personalized Medicine Special Interest Group of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) and on the Leadership Committee of the Health Technology Assessment Special Interest Group of ISPOR.
In addition to responsibilities at RTI Health Solutions, Mr. Faulkner also serves as Executive Director of the Genomic Biotech Institute (GBI) of the National Association of Managed Care Physicians (NAMCP) and Editor-in-Chief of the GBI special section of the Journal of Managed Care Medicine, Genomics and Biotechnology. Eric also serves as an adjunct Assistant Professor for the Institute for Pharmacogenomics and Individualized Therapy at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and on the Advisory Board of the Center for Translational and Policy Research on Personalized Medicine of the University of San Francisco at California.
