Michelle Brown, Joins RTI Health Solutions, as Director, Patient-Reported Outcomes

Michelle Brown, Ph.D., a health outcomes strategist and researcher with over 10 years of professional experience, recently joined RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS) as a Director of Patient-Reported Outcomes. She will be based in our Waltham office.

Michelle has more than 10 years experience in market analytics and patient-centered primary research, including patient-reported outcome (PRO) and commercial strategy research. Her responsibilities include PRO instrument development, instrument review and evaluation, developing conceptual and measurement models, and survey research such as assessing health-related quality of life, symptom and treatment burden, and productivity. She is a trained focus group moderator having conducted over 200 focus groups and 1000 in-depth interviews.

Previously she was an Associate Director at Abt Bio Pharma Solutions, Inc. where her primary responsibilities included developing the expansion of the PRO line of business.

Michelle has her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, earned from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Additionally, her past work and expertise includes the development of discrete choice study designs to assess patient and physician treatment preferences as well as retrospective database analysis assessing the clinical and economic impact of chronic disease programs.
