RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. –Eric Faulkner, RTI Health Solutions Director of US Market Access and Reimbursement, will introduce and moderate a panel of speakers on behalf of the Genomics Biotech Institute (GBI) of the National Association of Managed Care Physicians (NAMCP) at their Spring Managed Care Forum 2007: The Future of Healthcare Delivery in Orlando, FL May 3-4, 2007. The session will address adoption and diffusion of emerging genomic and biotechnology products and implications for the future of managed care. Panelists will provide insights on the benefits and challenges of integrating new diagnostics and biopharmaceuticals into current health delivery paradigms, including perspectives from NIH, FDA, US managed care organizations and a leading health technology assessment group.
Mr. Faulkner currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the GBI special section of the Journal of Managed Care Medicine for NAMCP. The mission of GBI is to bring payers, providers, life sciences manufacturers, employers, academics and other key health stakeholders together to discuss the emerging fields of genomics and biotechnology and evaluate implications for future delivery of care.
