Pharmacoepidemiology for Informed Decision-Making Throughout Your Product's Lifecycle
Our pharmacoepidemiology team investigates indicators of disease and drug usage and effects under real-life conditions, so you can make more informed decisions throughout the development and post-approval life cycle of your drug. The results of these studies can provide scientific evidence that aids in the understanding and interpretation of data from clinical trials, post-approval studies, and spontaneous adverse event reports. As recognized leaders in risk management, we collaborate with drug sponsors on their epidemiologic studies and help them ensure patient safety by designing and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management programs.
Our Expertise
Rely On Our Thought Leaders
Peer-reviewed scientific journals frequently publish results of our pharmacoepidemiological research and evaluations of new analytic methods. Our epidemiologists routinely serve on advisory boards and as advisors to academic and government institutions. We have academic appointments at the University of North Carolina School of Public Health and School of Pharmacy, Boston University, the Harvard School of Public Health, and the University of Dundee. We are active in several professional societies.

We are a partner centre of the ENCePP scientific network which is coordinated by the European Medicines Agency. We are dedicated to excellence in research by adhering to the ENCePP Guide on Methodological Standards and promoting scientific independence and transparency. We register studies in the ENCePP E-Register of Studies, a publicly accessible resource for the registration of pharmacoepidemiological and pharmacovigilance studies.
Additionally we are a research site in two major EU-funded research consortia.
Our status as a not-for-profit research institution and our scientific reputation facilitate strong partnerships with academic and government organizations that may be unaccustomed to direct industry collaborations.
Our broad range of experience and relationships make us an ideal research partner for your pharmacoepidemiology studies.
